Recipe: Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins with FrenzyFruit® Bananas

Ingredients:
  • 1 package (20g) FrenzyFruit® freeze-dried bananas
  • 220 grams flour
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 120 ml milk
  • 80 ml melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 85 grams chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the FrenzyFruit® Bananas:
        - Grind the FrenzyFruit® freeze-dried bananas into a powder using a blender or food processor.
  2. Preheat the Oven:
        - Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a muffin tin or use paper muffin liners.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients:
        - In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Mix Wet Ingredients:
        - Lightly beat the egg in another bowl. Add the melted butter, milk, and FrenzyFruit® banana powder. Mix well.
  5. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients:
        - Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Add Chocolate Chips:
        - Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Fill the Muffin Cups:
        - Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake the Muffins:
        - Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  9.  Let Cool:
        - Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for a few minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
